Reconditioned/ Refurbished wind turbines are popular because they are the value for money option due to the worldwide high demand for wind turbines. Although, reconditioned turbines are great value for money, they often have a shorter warranty than new turbines.
There is a large seclection of 75kW to 100kW recondioned wind turbines to choose from. However, bigger sized turbines are available.
A reconditioned turbine has a significantly shorter lead time than a new machine. Lead times are only 2-3 months compared with 2 years for new turbines. Lead times are longer for new turbines due to high demand.
