BORD GÁIS ENERGY domestic gas customers will see their bills rise by 8.5 per cent later this autumn, after the energy watchdog approved an application to increase its prices.

The Commission for Energy Regulation announced its approval for the hike this afternoon. This increase will come into affect on October 1st.

As this is one of many price increases over recent years and with more to come the move to renewable energy such as Biomass, Solar and Wind will not only be more cost effective now but will also protect you from further GAS price increases in the future.
