Enerpower install solar panels at Flahavans porridge factory

Enerpower, renewable energy specialists based in Waterford have recently completed an solar panel system installation on the roof of Co. Waterford based company Flahavan’s Oats.

Enerpower is one of Ireland’s leading renewable energy companies, providing a wide range of cost-effective and sustainable energy solutions for public, industrial, commercial, agricultural and domestic customers working across both Ireland and Northern Ireland.

At the family owned, Flahavans Oats company, Enerpower installed a 130 kWp rooftop mounted Solar Photo Voltaic systems allowing Flahavans to reduce their energy consumption significantly on an ongoing basis for the future. Given their commitment and focus on renewable energy, changes in electricity prices will not affect Flahavans.  This project shows how commercially viable solar photovoltaic has become for Irish businesses looking to consolidate their future expenses when it comes to energy.

Located in Co. Waterford, Flahavans, a family business has been producing quality oats since 1785. Every day 120 tonnes of porridge oats are milled at Flahavan’s factory where 54 workers deliver breakfast to millions of tables around the world.
