Solar Power Technology was recently installed at the Advanced Technology IDA building located at the Business and Technology Park in Butlerstown in Waterford.
This solar power system installed by Enerpower consisted of over 150 solar panels on to site. These solar pv panels are made with only the highest quality materials and components used. The IDA were looking for renewable energy that would provide them with their energy needs. This project will also future proof the IDA against any future energy price increases. This 50Kwp solar photovoltaic system will meet the needs.
A system of this size will generate up to 50,000Kwh of renewable electricity per annum and save 25,000kg of C02 annually. This system will require low maintenance and as solar energy does not produce any pollutants and is one of the cleanest sources of energy that is available to businesses.
