Solar Panel Install

Enerpower are delighted to have collaborated with Ardkeen Quality Food Store in Waterford on an 100Kwp Solar Panel install.

Ardkeen Quality Food Store firmly believe in supporting the community that supports them and source locally where possible for all products and items within the store.     This video below highlights the superb craftsmanship that the team enlisted to redesign their store. Speaking about the installation Owen Power, Managing Director of Enerpower said that “the team at Ardkeen store are pioneers in their sectors.  They have shown a commitment to working and sourcing locally that is rarely seen in the supermarket sector on such a large scale”

Enerpower worked on the solar panel install which consisted of 363 roof mounted panels.   The project was aided with funding from the SEAI.  The solar panel install will generate up to 100,000Kwh of renewable electricity per annum.  This will result in a saving of 60,000Kg of C02 annual.

The team at Ardkeen are focused on doing business responsibly and are accelerating their green transition through their in house sustainability programme.

Funding for your renewable energy project

Assistance on this project was provided by the SEAI.   There are many grants and options available for funding on renewable energy projects from the Better Energy Communities grant to the new Heat for biomass heating.

We recommend that you contact the team at Enerpower on 051 364 054 to learn more about funding available and how it can benefit your business.

How Solar Panels Work

Solar Panels will generate electricity free and reduce your business impact on the environment.   A solar panel install is a clean, affordable and sustainable way to generate electricity for your business.

A solar pv system will work by converting sunlight into a direct current, rather than the heat from the sun.  An inverter is used to turn this current into usable electricity.  You can learn more about how solar panels work by clicking here.

Solar Panel Benefits

With a solar panel install, you have control and will protect your business against price increases and the upcoming carbon tax.  More benefits of a solar panel install:

  • Reduced Operating Costs
  • Maintenance free
  • Protect your business against future price changes
  • Gain Green Business Credentials

Enerpower can carry out a detailed survey at your property and offer you a bespoke solution that suits your business and circumstances.  If you would like to generate renewable energy for your business and be financially rewarded for doing so, contact Enerpower on 051 364 054.
