Enerpower are delighted to announce that Contracts Manager Brigid Walsh will be a main contributor at the upcoming Engineers Ireland National Conference. The National Conference taking place in the Helix at Dublin City University will take place on Thursday 23rd April.
The theme of the National Conference is Engineering Climate Action: Solutions to combat climate in change in Ireland. It is the aim of the conference to highlight how engineers can help and lead in the fight against climate change globally.
Engineering is one of the key industries that can truly address the impact of climate change on the planet and as an engineering community, we need to be front and centre of the call for action on climate change.
Enerpower Contracts Manager, Brigid Walsh is a contributor at the event. Brigid graduated with a BEng Hons. in 2011 from Carlow IT. Brigid and her colleagues at Enerpower were responsible for Ireland’s largest solar PV installation project at Lidl’s new distribution centre in Newbridge, Co. Kildare.
Brigid has extensive experience in project and contract management across a variety of engineering sectors. She feels passionate about the Climate Action Plan to enable Ireland to reduce its carbon emissions by helping businesses with their renewable energy requirements. She believes energy connects us in everything we do, and everything we are.
