What do you do at the company?
My role at Enerpower involves the sale and supply of biomass heating solutions such as biomass fuel and biomass boilers. I help clients make the switch to sustainable and renewable biomass heating. This reduces their operational costs, improves efficiencies and reduce their carbon foot print.
What’s your background?
I grew up in south Tipperary just outside Clonmel and I am a Waterford Institute of Technology graduate with a BS’c in Land Management and Forestry. My career to date has included various sales and technical roles in the private and public sector. My interest in wood energy came from my time in WIT studying under Tom Kent who is Ireland leading authority on the subject. While studying in WIT I was also lucky enough to learn from Rachel O’Dowd who was a key influence for me on all things business and entrepreneurship.
