Enerpower are Ireland’s leading renewable energy efficiency companies and are currently hiring for the position of Maintenance Electrician. Enerpower provide a wide range of cost-effective and sustainable energy solutions for public, industrial, commercial, agricultural customers working across both Ireland and Northern Ireland.
This position will be based in Ireland and Travel is a requirement of the role.
Title: Maintenance Electrician
Reporting to: Senior Contracts Manager
Objectives of the Job:
We require a maintenance technician to support a range of projects in the Renewable Energy Sectors covering Wind, Solar PV and Bio Mass. The successful candidate will be a member of the Maintenance Division and will also get to aid Project Managers and Engineers on selection of equipment and resolving on site issues during construction of projects. Problem solving is a key element of this role.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Daily hands on maintenance of Solar, Biomass & Wind Systems Nationwide
- Electrical/mechanical installation of renewable energy systems
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation
- Equipment Specification
- IT Interface Problem Solving
- Management of Subcontractors
- Equipment Maintenance, proactive and reactive
- Schedule works programs
- Ensure all safety procedures are followed
- Technical support to customers
- Proactively develop technical skills and knowledge as to keep pace with new developments
- Demonstrate an open, positive attitude to learning and developing a broad range of skills
- Share knowledge and impart skills to other team members
- Stay abreast of trends in relevant industry fields
- Flexibility to travel nationwide
- Assist in any other duties which may encompass the role
- Understanding of Health and Safety requirements
- Working to KPI’s
Experience and Qualifications
- Snr Trades (Electrical/Mechanical) or Third level Engineering Qualification with Trade background
- 3 Years’ Experience in Mechanical/Electrical Maintenance Services desirable
- Electrical & IT Fault Finding
- Full Clean Driving License
- Knowledge of renewable energy systems Solar PV, Wind Turbines, Biomass Boilers would be an advantage
