Guerbet has signed a contract with Waterford based renewable energy comapny, Enerpower for the construction of a 2.4 MW solar farm adjacent to the Guerbet site in Dublin. The solar farm will be constructed by Enerpower on land owned by Guerbet and will provide 2 million kWh/a of electricity to Guerbet, enough to power 500 homes. The project is expected to be delivered by the end of 2023 and will allow the site to decarbonize significantly.
As part of Guerbet’s Corporate Social Responsibility strategy and carbon footprint reduction targets, Guerbet has signed a contract with Enerpower for the construction of a 2.4 MW solar farm adjacent to the Guerbet site in Dublin. Guerbet has joined the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) which encourages ambitious climate action in the private sector by allowing companies to set science-based emission reduction targets https://sciencebasedtargets.org/. Guerbet has set a number ambitious decarbonization objectives.
