Types of Biomass Technology
Woodchip boilers or Biomass Boilers are the ideal solution for many buildings which require space heating or hot water. Wood Chip Boilers can be installed in shops, schools, hotels, hospitals, nursing homes, offices, food producers, to name a few.
Woodchip boilers can be fed automatically which means less hassle and less mess. All augers have solid steel shafts to prevent breaking making Hargassner wood chip boilers very durable, product life is 20+ years. Hargassner wood chip boilers can burn fuel with a higher moisture content, than standard boilers can. Hargassner woodchip boilers can also use wood pellets, willow chips or miscanthus in chipped or pelleted form. They can also burn oats, straw, hay, sawdust, and you can use waste wood as biomass fuel in certain cases. Hargassner Wood chip boilers are 93% efficient, with new touch screen controls for easy use along with maintenance free gearboxes and automatic heat exchangers cleaning. Wood Pellet Boilers
Hargassner wood pellet boilers are installed in: town halls, hospitals, domestic houses, colleges & schools, youth hostels, nursing homes, offices. Wood Pellet boilers are typically automatically controlled and allow continuous pellet combustion in which the fuel is fed automatically into the combustion chamber by means of an auger or blower. Most biomass pellet boilers are equipped with a pellet storage bin which is sufficient for a few months of operation. Hargassner wood pellet boilers operate at 93% efficiency
The Hargassner biomass Gasification boiler ranges from 20kW to 48 kW and is over 93% efficient. Seasoned wood logs can be burned in boilers. Such boilers are typically batch fed at intervals of up to a number of hours depending on heat demand. It has an oversized feeding tube allowing it to take logs of up to half a meter. The excellent design of this boiler allows for easy ash removal and cleaning. Furthermore, it allows for comfortable stoking through large slanted fire door. This boiler uses an under burning principle which is particularly suited for achieving an economical and ecology friendly fuel wood heating.
Industrial Biomass Boilers
The high-performance industrial biomass boiler by Hargassner is produced with a stress-free welded construction. The thermally insulated door at the front swings out completely permitting free access for cleaning all the boiler flues. The biomass boiler is constructed in accordance with the natural combustion process of the fuel wood. The biomass gasification combustion chamber built on a direct pass principle is fitted with a variable, ceramic (replaceable) radiator roof cladding. High combustion temperatures and a long furnace duration of the gases is the guarantee for a clean burning process.

Hargassner Containers Boilers
Container biomass boilers range from 20kW to 550kW and are 93% efficient. They are cost-effective and reliable, factory-made heating centres. On site, the assembly of this Container biomass boiler is the connecting of the water and heating pipes and connections into the container main distribution board. The heating containers are well-equipped: continuously controlled automatic burner system and chimney ventilators. There are no housing requirements, the container energy centre arrives on site ready for operation. This minimises the level of infrastructure and civil works required on site
Multi Fuel Boilers
Many boilers are set up to deal with only one fuel type, but Hargassner woodchip and industrial boilers are multi fuel. As Hargassner woodchip boilers can burn a variety of biomass fuels such as woodchip, wood pellets, wood logs, miscanthus, willow, straw, hay, grain, cereals etc. they ensure stability of fuel supply.
