Ladyrath House, a period building located in Co. Meath installed a 48kW HPK-RA pellet boiler to replace their oil boiler. Close to this domestic house an existing shed was converted into a 40 meters cubed fuel store. The pellets are fed to the boiler using a blower. No adjustments needed to be made to existing heating system when the biomass boiler was installed. As this private dwelling moved from oil to biomass, they conserve 19 tonnes of carbon per year.
