A Solar PV Generation system of 30Kwp has been installed at Cahill’s Cheese in Limerick. This is another step for Cahill’s Cheese on their journey with Origin Green to become more sustainable and reducing their annual carbon emissions while providing a clean and sustainable way to generate electricity in the food production industry.
This solar installation consists of 110 panels on site. From this PV generation will be up to 29,000kWh of renewable electricity per annum. This will result in a saving of 15 tonnes of C02 annually.
