Enerpower are delighted to announce the successful completion of this 776kWp Solar PV System at Tricels facility in Co. Kerry. Tricel are a global engineering company that trusted Enerpower to install their Solar PV System. The company approached Enerpower to help assist with their environmental impact as well as reduce their carbon footprint

During this 776kWp Solar PV install, Enerpower installed a total of 1,744 JA Solar Panels across two units at the Kerry facility. An Enerpower Engineer conducted a site survey and found that the most beneficial and effective install would be to conduct over two units. A total of 6 Huawei Sun2000 Inverters were used throughout this installation process. In the case of an outage, these high-quality inverters allow for remote access where you can pinpoint what inverter is down via the app. A Van Der Valk roof mounting system was also used throughout this Solar PV install, these ensure all panels are securely fitted and in place.
Enerpower also installed 3 heat pumps at Tricels facility. A 300kW heat pump, 250kW heat pump, and an 30kW heat pump. It is estimated that the heat pumps will generate a combined total of 51,750 kWh per year. The completion of both renewable energy sources will greatly benefit Tricel as they now produce their own form of electricity whilst also producing their own source of heat through the heat pumps.
